Kerion is a driven, analytical and dynamic operations management and corporate safety and security professional with extensive logistics experience across emerging and developed markets including Africa, Europe and Latin America.
Garry's pragmatic approach combined with strong leadership and analytical skills has served him in good stead. A resourceful and solutions-focused Chartered & Registered Environmental, Health & Safety Practitioner with extensive experience in all aspects of EH&S management, working in multi-national organisations managing non-financial risk enterprise areas across Europe, Asia, Africa, the Middle East and the Americas.
Garry has been active in Environmental Management and global ESG governance through energy reduction, conservation & efficiency management & PAS 2060 certification programs, the implementation of water stewardship programs and certification to the AWS standard as well as continuing to drive waste management solutions.
More recently Garry has acquired an immense amount of expertise in; ISO Management Systems (gap analysis, establishing, certification & accreditation), auditing (45001, 14001, 22301, 27001), Risk Analysis & Management, Incident event investigations, Training & Awareness, Emergency Response, Business Continuity & Crisis Management.
Kerion has a passion for developing business optimisation solutions through an integrated services approach while building strong networks in diverse and often adverse environments. Kerion excels at managing large-scale strategic and operational initiatives while analysing trends and data to understand root causes and deliver predictive insight, thus assisting organisations to reach their tactical short and long-term objectives.
Kerion is a SAFMA Certified Facilities Professional (CFProf), Member of the Institute of Workplace and Facilities Management (MIWFM), a Technical Member of SAIOSH (TechSAIOSH), Member of the UK Security Institute (MSyL), Member of the American Society for Industrial Security and an Individual Member of the Security Association of South Africa
Additionally, Kerion is a qualified Lead Auditor and has vast experience in implementing and auditing multiple management systems, including 45001, 14001 as well as 27001, 22301, 9001. Kerion is IRCA & CQI registered
